संसार में प्रत्येक प्राणी अपने लक्ष्य की ओर बढ़ रहा है। सूर्य, चांद, सितारे सब अपने लक्ष्य की ओर बढ़ रहे हैं तो ऐसे में यह कैसे संभव है कि मेरे जीवन का कोई उद्देश्य न हो। मेरे जीवन का भी एक उद्देश्य है. यह बात अलग है। कि मैं उसके बारे में जानता हूं या नहीं। जिस दिन मुझे इस बात की समझ आ जाएगी, उसी दिन से, सही अर्थों में मेरी जीवन यात्रा शुरू होगी।
यहां ध्यान देने योग्य है कि प्रत्येक का उद्देश्य अलग-अलग होता है। कोई डॉक्टर बनना चाहता है, कोई नेता तो कोई इंजीनियर। मुझे लगता है कि मंग उद्देश्य इनसे अलग है। मेरा मानना है कि अच्छे राष्ट्र की नींव उसके पढ़े-लिखे और संस्कारवान् लोग होते हैं और इस निर्माण में शिक्षक की महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका हुआ करती है। इसीलिए मेरे जीवन का उद्देश्य एक आदर्श शिक्षक बनना है।
अपने विद्यालय के ‘वाजपेयी सर’ को जब मैं देखता हूं. तो शिक्षक बनने की मेरी इच्छा और बलवती हो जाती है। उनकी सादगी से स्वाभिमान की चमक बड़ी साफ दिखाई देती है। उनके इसी व्यक्तित्व के कारण सब उनका आदर करते हैं और वे सबसे प्यार करते हैं।
एक अच्छा शिक्षक ही अच्छे राष्ट्र की नींव रख सकता है। अध्यापक स्वयं में शिक्षा का एक बृहद् केंद्र होता है। वह अपने शिष्यों को सुयोग्य बनाकर उनके हृदय में भी ज्ञान की ज्योति जलाता है। इसलिए क्यों न मैं भी अपनी शिक्षा की ज्योति से हर नवयुवक छात्र के हृदय में ज्ञान का दीप जला दूं। एक दीपक से ही दूसरा दीपक जलता है। यह एक अनंत प्रक्रिया है। इसी अमर दीप से प्रकाश लेकर मैं जन-जन के मन का अंधेरा दूर कर सकूं, तो मैं समझता हूं कि मेरे जीवन का लक्ष्य पूरा हो जाएगा। एक शिक्षक बनकर मैं चाहता हूं. प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी भगवान से यही वर मांगे कि-तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय! हे प्रभु! मुझे अंधकार से प्रकाश की ओर ले चलो। स्वयं के जीवन को प्रकाशित करना और दूसरों के मार्ग में प्रकाश फैलाना ही तो मेरे जीवन का उद्देश्य है।

Every creature in the world is moving towards its goal. Sun, moon, stars are all moving towards their goal, so how is it possible that my life has no purpose. My life also has a purpose. This thing is different. whether I know about it or not. The day I will understand this, from that day, my journey of life in the true sense will begin.
It is worth noting here that each has a different purpose. Some want to become a doctor, some politician, and some engineer. I think the mung purpose is different from these. I believe that the foundation of a good nation is its educated and cultured people and the teacher plays an important role in this construction. That’s why the aim of my life is to become a perfect teacher.
When I see ‘Vajpayee Sir’ of my school. So my desire to become a teacher gets stronger. The glow of self-respect is clearly visible from his simplicity. Because of his personality, everyone respects him and he is loved the most.
Only a good teacher can lay the foundation of a good nation. The teacher is a great center of education in itself. He makes his disciples capable and ignites the light of knowledge in their hearts too. That’s why I also want to light the lamp of knowledge in the heart of every young student with the light of my education. From one lamp, another lamp is lit. It is an infinite process. By taking light from this immortal lamp, if I can remove the darkness of the mind of the people, then I understand that the goal of my life will be fulfilled. I want to become a teacher. Every student should ask God for the same boon that – Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya! Oh, God! Lead me from darkness to light. The purpose of my life is to illuminate my own life and spread light in the path of others.
