विद्यालय अर्थात् विद्या+आलय यानी ‘विद्या का घर’ विद्यालय में सभी जाति, धर्म और वर्ग के बच्चे पढ़ने आते हैं। विद्यालय सरकारी और प्राइवेट दोनों प्रकार के होते हैं। मेरे शहर में कई विद्यालय हैं। मैं सुभाष माध्यमिक विद्यालय में पढ़ता हूं, जो कि शहर के बीचोबीच, नई सड़क पर स्थित है।
मेरे विद्यालय का भवन नवनिर्मित है। इसमें सभी सुविधाओं का ध्यान रखा गया है। हमारे विद्यालय में एक सुंदर बगीचा है। इसकी देखभाल हम सभी करते हैं. क्योंकि हमारे पाठ्यक्रम में बागवानी भी है। हमारे विद्यालय में 12 बड़े कमरे तथा 2 हॉल हैं। एक हॉल में प्रार्थना होती है तथा दूसरे में सभाएं एवं अन्य कार्यक्रम होते हैं। विद्यालय में स्वच्छ पानी पीने की समुचित व्यवस्था है। मेन बिल्डिंग के पीछे बड़ा मैदान है, जहां विभिन्न खेल और व्यायाम होते हैं।
हमारे विद्यालय का परिवार बहुत बड़ा है। लगभग 800 विद्यार्थी यहां पढ़ते हैं। यहां 16 अध्यापक/अध्यापिकाएं और एक प्रधानाध्यापक तथा 3 चपरासी हैं। प्रधानाध्यापक पाठशाला का संचालन करते हैं। समय-समय पर बाहर से आए माननीय विद्वानों और अपने क्षेत्र के प्रतिष्ठित व्यक्तियों द्वारा जीवन मूल्यों और जीवन के लिए उपयोगी व्यावहारिक जानकारी भी हमें दी जाती है।
हमारे विद्यालय का अनुशासन बड़ा कठोर है। पाठशाला के नियमों का पालन करना सभी के लिए अनिवार्य है। हमारे विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक स्वयं पाठशाला में समय से पूर्व आते हैं और अवकाश के पश्चात घर जाते हैं। सभी गुरुजन लगनपूर्वक अध्यापन करवाते हैं, इसलिए हमारे विद्यालय का परीक्षाफल नगर में सर्वश्रेष्ठ रहता है। विद्यार्थियों की शिक्षा से संबंधित तथा व्यक्तिगत परेशानियों को दूर करने के लिए समय-समय पर अनुभवी मनोविश्लेषकों द्वारा काउंसलिंग भी की जाती है।

Vidyalaya i.e. Vidya+alaya i.e. ‘home of learning’ children of all caste, religions, and class come to study in the school. Schools are both government and private. There are many schools in my city. I study in Subhash Secondary School, which is located on Nai Road, in the heart of the city.
My school building is newly constructed. All the facilities have been taken care of in it. There is a beautiful garden in our school. We all take care of it. Because we also have gardening in our curriculum. Our school has 12 big rooms and 2 halls. Prayers are held in one hall and meetings and other events take place in the other. There is a proper arrangement for drinking clean water in the school. Behind the main building, there is a large ground, where various sports and exercises take place.

The discipline of our school is very strict. It is mandatory for everyone to follow the rules of the school. The headmaster of our school himself comes to school before time and goes home after recess. All the gurus teach diligently, so the results of our school are the best in the city. Counseling is also done by experienced psychoanalysts from time to time to overcome the personal problems related to the education of the students.
