इस समय मेरी ड्यूटी चुनावों में लगाई गई है। मेरे अफसरों का कहना है कि उन्हें इस विशेष अवसर पर किसी से न डरने वाले और ईमानदार काम करने वालों की जरूरत है। मैंने जीवन में ऐसा ही बनने की कोशिश की है।
मेरी ड्यूटी शहर से दूर एक गांव में लगी है। लंबा सफर है। छोटी बस में बैठे अनचाहे ही मेरी आंखें मुंदी और एक चलचित्र की भांति घूम गया मेरे होशो -हवास में हुआ चुनाव से संबंधित मेरे जीवन का पहला अनुभव।
तब मैं 12वीं कक्षा में था। हमारे मन में उत्कंठा थी यह जानने की कि वोट कैसे डाले जाते हैं। मैं अपने तीन साथियों के साथ वोटिंग का नजारा लेने निकल पड़ा। लंबी-लंबी कतारों में खड़े लोगों को देखकर लगा लोग अपने कर्तव्य के प्रति कितने जागरूक हैं। तभी एक बूथ पर जाकर हम खड़े हो गए।
वहां बैठे एक कार्यकर्ता ने पता नहीं कैसे हमारी इच्छा को भांप लिया। उसने पूछा, ” वोट डालोगे?” हमने हामी भर दी। उसने हमें पर्चियां दीं- अलग-अलग। हम लाइन में खड़े हो गए। हमारा नंबर आया तो हमने अपना परिचय दिया। वहां बैठे अफसर ने एक ओर इशारा किया, “इन्हें जानते हो ?”
“नहीं,” हम सबका उत्तर था। अफसर ने एक तरफ बैठने को कहा। हमें लगा कि कुछ गड़बड़ी हुई है। थोड़ी देर बाद हम चारों जेल की कोठरी में थे।
रात काफी बीत चुकी थी। किसी की आंखों में नींद नहीं थी। लेकिन न जाने कब आंखें मुंद गई। एकाएक कोठरी का ताला खुला। थोड़ी देर बाद किसी बड़े पुलिस अफसर के सामने खड़े थे हम उन्होंने पूछा, “क्या करने गए थे?” हम चारों बोले, ” वोट डालने।” इसके बाद उन्होंने हमारी पूरी जानकारी ली कि क्या, कैसे हुआ था। ” तो ठीक है, लिखकर दो कि फिर कभी ऐसा नहीं होगा।” हमने वैसा ही किया।
हमें छोड़ दिया गया। बाद में हमें पता चला कि जिस उम्र के वोटर बनकर गए थे. उनसे हम बहुत छोटे थे। वैन झटके के साथ रुकी। आवाज आई. “उतरिए साहब, गांव आ गया है।” चुनाव के पहले अनुभव को अतीत के बक्से में बंद कर मैं उतर गया।

200-300 Words Essay speech on My Election Experience in English
At present, my duty has been assigned to the elections. My officers say that they need people who are not afraid of anyone and do honest work on this special occasion. I have tried to be like this in life.
My duty is engaged in a village away from the city. It’s a long journey. I unintentionally closed my eyes while sitting in a small bus and went around like a movie in my senses, my first experience of life-related to the election.
Then I was in class 12th. We were curious to know how votes were cast. I went out with my three companions to watch the voting. Seeing the people standing in long queues, it was felt how conscious people are about their duty. Then we went to a booth and stood.
A worker sitting there did not know how to sense our desire. He asked, “Will you vote?” We agreed. He gave us the slips – separately. We stood in line. When our number came, we introduced ourselves. The officer sitting there pointed to one side, “Do you know him?”
“No,” was the answer of all of us. The officer asked to sit on one side. We thought something went wrong. After a while, the four of us were in the jail cell.
The night had long passed. There was no sleep in anyone’s eyes. But I don’t know when my eyes are closed. Suddenly the lock of the closet opened. After a while, we were standing in front of a senior police officer and he asked, “What did you go to do?” All four of us said, “Vote.” After this, he took our complete information about what happened, how it happened. “Okay then, just write that it will never happen again.” We did the same.
We were let go. Later we came to know that the age at which the voter had gone. We were much younger than him. The van stopped with a jolt. The voice came. “Get down sir, the village has come.” Locking the first experience of the election in the box of the past, I got down.
